Working efficiently together during our relocation period
Over the coming months, we are transitioning from five locations to two new, modern warehouses. This move will bring more stability, efficiency, and overview. In the meantime, we ask our partners to take note of the following guidelines to help everything run smoothly.
1. Large orders – allow one extra working day
For orders above 10 pallets, please allow one extra working day so that we can process these carefully. Urgent orders are temporarily limited.
2. Counting at fixed moments
Inventory checks for reported discrepancies are performed at fixed times during the week. This helps our team stay focused and minimizes disruptions.
3. Camera footage and CargoSnaps
Before requesting camera footage, please check the CargoSnaps first. In nearly all cases, the shipment is well-documented there. This saves time and avoids unnecessary investigations.
4. Smart collaboration
Before raising a question, please double-check your system or CargoSnap information. In many cases, the answer is already available there. This helps us respond faster and keeps communication clear.
5. Customs clearance for non-EU shipments
If your goods come from outside the EU, please make sure to complete the customs clearance form when announcing your goods. This ensures we can handle the import declaration correctly and prevents delays during unloading. You’ll find this in step 3C of the announcement process.
6. Quality remains our focus
Due to high activity and the move between multiple sites, we may temporarily experience a slightly higher damage rate. We are monitoring this closely and taking steps to minimize it.
In summary
We appreciate your patience and cooperation during this busy period. Soon we’ll be operating from our new facilities with more calm, efficiency, and the same quality you expect from Amsterdam Warehouse Company.
