New Route to Market Service
With our New Route to Market service, Amsterdam Warehouse Company enables B2B deliveries across several EU countries where local excise duties are paid on behalf of the brand. This removes the need for local fiscal registrations and simplifies cross-border distribution. This service is available for business customers only. We do not ship to consumers.
Eligible Countries
We can currently deliver under this model to the following countries:
-
Germany (DE)
-
Austria (AT)
-
France & Monaco (FR, MC)
-
Italy & San Marino (IT, SM)
-
Belgium (BE)
-
Sweden (SE)
This list will expand as additional markets become compliant.
Each country has its own excise structure, tariff levels and procedural requirements. These may affect lead times.
Country-Specific Requirements
Not every destination works “plug and play”. Some markets require additional steps before duty-paid delivery is possible.
Italy
-
Mandatory duty stamps
-
Must be requested and shipped to the producer before goods can move
-
This adds lead time and needs to be coordinated in advance
Sweden
-
Deliveries must be handled as duty-paid stock via Berlin
-
Additional administrative steps
-
Not suitable for urgent or same-week shipments
Other countries
The basic workflow works well, but local rules vary. We confirm case-specific requirements when needed.
Excise Duty Structure
Excise levels differ per country and per product category:
-
Spirits (per litre of pure alcohol)
-
Sparkling wine (per litre)
-
Still wine (per litre)
-
Intermediate products (per litre)
-
Beer (€/litre/°Plato or €/litre/vol, depending on the market)
We maintain an up-to-date overview together with our partner.
