Internal relocation
When selecting the delivery method for my order I see the option internal relocation, what does this mean?
We use the delivery method internal relocation in a few situations: When you transfer stock from your main account to your sample account, when you have an order to a customer who's stock is also in our warehouse and when you have an VAL order (only step 2).
Sample account
You need to transfer articles from your main account to your sample account with the use of this delivery method.
Please have a look at our sample page to see the full procedure.
Order to another customer at our warehouse
You can select the internal relocation option when you sell some of your goods to a company that's also a customer at our warehouse. Make sure that you put the receiving party on the delivery address. The receiving party will need to create the articles on their own account and they need to make an announcement of the arrival of the goods. We will take care of the order picking and the transfer of the goods to the other company.
VAL order
With a VAL (valuable added logistics) order you can think of adding tax stamps on bottles, repacking bottles in giftboxes or assembling promotional packages.
When selecting the delivery method: "internal relocation" we pick the order and place it to our VAL department, when the repacking/labeling is finished we put it back in the system on a different article code.
Please have a look at our VAL page to see the full procedure.
