Requesting a specific batch is useful for customers who have strict requirements for incoming goods. For example, consider that an item still has a Best Before Date of at least 6 months. Then you can request the correct batch for the order.
If you don't have turned on that you can order by batch, you can fill in the amount of the article, that you want to order, in our portal and add it to the shopping cart.

In this case you can only select how many pieces you want from the article. Then, we will pick the oldest batch or the batch with the oldest Best Before Date.
The example below is an example of a customer who does have the batch ordering capability. You will see the letter "B" (batch), or the letter "P" (partij) in Dutch, behind the article.
When you press this button, the article is divided among the existing batches, behind the article you can indicate how many bottles of which batch you want to request for the order, and add it to your shopping cart.

If you want the ability to request by batch, do not hesitate and send us an email to order@amsterdamwarehouse.com. We will change this for you and after this it will be possible to request a batch per item.
Requesting a specific batch does come with additional cost. This is because we may have to pick from different batches.If you have the function to request by batch, but for an order we don't have to pick a specific batch, just order like normal and you don't pay any additional fees. The additional fees are only if you reqeust a specific batch.
